Edit group configuration¶

Click on a group name to open the editor.

Note that the radio button for deactivating autostart is located at the end of the page in the editor.

Todo

Error in the info-description of the school console: pxelinux.cfg is removed.

Note also that in the group-specific Linbo startup file under “pxelinux. cfg/<gruppe>” the entry “DEFAULT reboot” is activated and the computer starts via PXE.

Todo

Reference to your own todo, or longer explanation of what each entry means.

Create group configuration¶

Copy the configuration of an existing computer group or create a new group configuration.

Note that as of LINBO 1.1.0, IDE disks such as SATA disks are addressed. MMC stands for a new type of low-cost SSD memory that was previously only used in cameras.

Once the new group configuration has been created, you can make further adjustments to the new configuration in the submenu “Edit group configuration”.

GRUB start file¶

GRUB start files can be edited here.

Image management¶

The existing images can be renamed or copied and information or descriptions of the images can be viewed.

To rename and copy images, you must enter a new file name. File extensions (.cloop/.rsync) can be omitted.

If you move the mouse over the symbols, help texts are displayed.

Edit registry patch¶

Click on the name of a registry patch file to edit it.

To create a new registry patch file, first select the image file from the top drop-down menu. In the lower drop-down menu, select the registry patch file to be used as a template for the new file.

Edit Postsync file¶

Here you can edit the postsync files of the images.

Remote control¶

Observe running remote control commands or create new commands.
